Photo Album: https://photos.app.goo.gl/QuW5JQQJL6emqhb68 Last week on Tuesday, I drove a couple hours up to grab my new companion and head back down to Hershey. Elder McCurdy is an awesome guy and it's definitely going to be a really fun transfer and I'm excited. We've already had so many fun moments this past week and a half. We are currently teaching this part member family right now and it has been so blessed. The dad is a historian that works for this Catholic Association and he just knows everything about every religion and can translate multiple languages and can speak multiple languages as well. After one of our lessons with him we just ended up talking with him for a while just about other religions and pretty deep stuff. They are active and have two kids that are unbaptized and one of them currently really wants to be baptized and she is almost 10 years old named Abbigail. The family is kind of holding them back and wants them to really understand the Covenant ...

Photo Album: https://photos.app.goo.gl/QuW5JQQJL6emqhb68 Wow what a week, we had transfers this week and a lot happened. I finally left johnstown!! After three transfers I am now in the beautiful area of Hershey. So I have three companions this transfer. I was originally put with Elder Jacobson and was with him for a day but a last minute transfer happened and so I was put with Elder Loftus, but another emergency transfer happened and so I am going to be put with Elder McCurdy who I'll be with on Tuesday for the transfer. Hershey is a beautiful area and the ward is amazing. We are undergoing a lot of boundary changes and so we will not have church next Sunday and we will be meeting at a high school to discuss the changes. We have two elders opening up a new area called the Hummelstown area which is in our area. Hershey is already a really small area and it's getting cut almost in half. I've been so used to Johnstown and it's huge area span and so many people to stop b...

Week 18; Transfer Week

Photo Album: https://photos.app.goo.gl/QuW5JQQJL6emqhb68 We found this awesome guy named Sean this week. He had submitted a request to meet with us and I called him and he is struggling with a lot, he has no hope for himself and doesn't feel like there's a reason to live anymore. He put his wife or girlfriend in prison due to really bad stuff that she was into and her family has always hated him and he feels like everyone's out to get him but not in a narcissistic way. I really focused on the atonement in the healing that can come from it in the hope that can come from it. He really feels like there is no joy or comfort in his life right now. I really testified hard about Christ and the light that can come from him. I also talked about the Book of Mormon and the joy that can bring us just learning God's word and coming to church. I told him that me and my whole district would pray for him to recieve that comfort and guidance he needs right now. We called him two days ...

Week 17; Happy New Year

Photo Album: https://photos.app.goo.gl/QuW5JQQJL6emqhb68 HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!🥳🥳🎉🎊🥂 Wow it's actually 2026, that doesn't sound like a real year. The whole entire year of 2026 I'll be here in Pennsylvania, wild to think about. Hope we all can set some goals for ourselves to become 1% better each day. Transfers are next week and this is the final reporting week of the transfer, it flew by. I'll most definitely be leaving Johnstown (Finally) to start a new chapter somewhere else, I'm so excited. This week we had to make a show of faith and drop some of our friends. We are distancing ourselves from jay because he's someone who's willing to be baptized versus wanting to be baptized. He doesn't want to make the commitments in order to progress, he's been to church 5/6 past 6 weeks, he's been taught and retaught everything. He just can't get past word of wisdom and actually putting in the effort to read on his own time. Its frustrating, but ...
